The Largest Cruise Ship

The Largest Cruise Ship - Allure Of The Seas

The largest cruise ship in the world pertecente Royal Caribbean International, was built by STX Europe. The first ship of the new Oasis Class was the Oasis of the Seas and the second, his brother Allure of the Seas.

Oasis of the Seas was launched on 30 October 2009 in Turku, Finland. The second ship, the MS Allure of the Seas was launched in December 2010.

The Oasis class passed the Freedom Class, hitherto the largest in terms of passenger-carrying capacity of the world. With more than 21 meters long, 8.5 meters wide and is slightly deeper than the Freedom Class ships, and 43% more weight.

The ship is 220 tons and capacity for 5,450 travelers, 16 floors and a verdant tropical outdoor size of a football field, called Central Park. The ship is more expensive ever built.

The ship was built over three years and had the commitment of 500 designers and thousands of workers took 525,000 meters square steel, 5,000 miles of electrical cable and 630,000 liters of paint.

The maiden voyage was a script for four days traveling to Labadee, Haiti, whose most economical tickets cost 500 euros per person and for which, despite the crisis, not left luxury cabins available.

The ship was designed to have new features such as the inclusion of a complex of bowling, snooker games, similar to those found in the Radiance class of ships, a large dining room, great room and a real tour, shopping and recreation area .
In addition to the sophistication, the boat brings innovations such as energy self-sufficiency, purification of drinking water, waste treatment and a device that lowers the chimneys to pass under bridges.
Among the luxuries, there are cabins with 154 square meters with sea views and recreation areas, such as an outdoor amphitheater.

The cruise also has a park, including trees and open areas such as ice-skating rink, wave pool and a climbing wall, without leaving out several pools, restaurants, nightclubs, cinemas and a casino.
Oasis of the Seas Central Park is an outdoor park located in the central part of the ship without a sea view and surrounded by buildings of cabins, like a park in a big city. The park has 12,175 plants, 62 plants had 56 and some bamboo trees over 24 feet tall.
The vegetation and shade tornan the park a pleasant place to sit outside and have a drink or dinner outdoors. Central Park is mostly directed to adults. He has six restaurants and bars, including the more upscale restaurant of the ship, 150 Central Park and Royal Caribbean passengers favorite Chops Grille.
The Rising Tide Bar is the first moving bar at sea, linking the Royal Promenade on deck five, with Central Park on deck 8. The zip line is 82 meters long and is nine decks above Boardwalk.

The Allure of the Seas is currently traveling back and forth for seven days to the Eastern or Western Caribbean year-round from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
However, some distant ports like Hong Kong and Singapore are planning to expand its doors to accommodate this mega-ship.
The Royal Promenade, on Deck 5, simulates a street chic, full of bars, restaurants, designer shops and ample space to move, with benches strategically placed between the decorative plants.

Although the large number of passengers, inexplicably there are no queues, perhaps the various activities and locations available. In the Royal Promenade and other decks, including some restaurants and bars paid, there are several which can be reached at any time, serve or be served, take a table and enjoy the nice environment, without the slightest outrage or additional expense.
For children and youth, there are numerous activities: climbing wall, 60 meters above sea level, ice skating, playground, cinema third dimension, and the opportunity to make a temporary tattoo, have your face painted, be photographed with a character from DreamWorks, doing karaoke, and many others.

In a vessel of this size, everything has to be huge, of course: in the kitchen, working 20 chefs, 222 cooks and 102 crew members in charge of cleaning, responsible for the huge variety of delicious dishes offered and constantly renewed, in confectionery, like all breads and offered cakes are fresh, the appropriate machine takes care of making 4000 units per hour.
